The Colditz Story is not really a great deal like any other films of this kind I'd seen before. For a start, the tone is far more light-hearted and comedic than you normally get from this kind of thing, although it's not really a comedy at all.. Only towards the end are some escapees shot, but even then the risk is underplayed. Solid cast.
